Escinea® – science and nature
The inspiration behind Escinea® came from the latest discoveries about the many health-promoting properties of horse chestnut and black chokeberry that had previously been underestimated or even completely unknown. Research carried out in numerous scientific centres around the world has provided new insights into the molecular mechanisms of action of the compounds they contain. As a result, these well-known plant ingredients have once again been brought into the spotlight as exceptionally attractive components of modern dietary supplements.
Escinea® is backed by an interdisciplinary team of scientists affiliated with leading research institutions such as the Medical University of Warsaw, the Pharmaceutical Institute, the National Medicines Institute and AsLab laboratories. For many years, they have been conducting research on natural plant ingredients and exploring how to use them in innovative, health-supporting formulations. The team’s scientific and translational achievements, as well as its innovative mindset, have been recognised and rewarded many times in competitions dedicated to new technologies and health-oriented solutions. Important distinctions include winning the “Leader in New Technologies” category in the “Success Written in Lipstick” competition and recognition in the prestigious “Forbes 50/50” ranking.
